14 mil Heavy Duty Black/White Poly Tarp — Made in the USA

When ordinary tarps fail, professionals trust Tarps America's 14 mil Heavy Duty Black/White Poly Tarp. Built from 6.8 oz per square yard woven polyethylene with a laminated UV-resistant coating, this is the heavy-duty tarp for hay storage, silage covers, farm equipment, construction site protection, and large-scale industrial applications. 59 sizes available. Made in the USA. Priced lower than Amazon, Home Depot, and all major competitors.

Why Professionals Choose Our 14 mil Poly Tarp

  • True 14 mil thickness (6.8 oz/sq yd): Genuine woven polyethylene construction — not a "14 mil equivalent." Full laminated UV coating on both sides.
  • Black/White dual-function design: White side up reflects UV rays to protect cargo and extend tarp life. Black side down absorbs heat and resists ground moisture.
  • Rust-proof stainless steel grommets every 18–24" and all four corners: More anchor points than competitors who space grommets 36" apart — critical for high-wind and heavy-load applications.
  • 100% waterproof, mildew-proof, and rot-proof: Engineered for year-round outdoor exposure in rain, snow, UV, and extreme temperatures.
  • 59 standard sizes — 6'x20' up to 120'x120': Need a custom size? Call (337) 282-5115 or email [email protected].
  • Made in the USA: Supporting domestic manufacturing with full quality control from raw material to finished tarp.
  • Non-fire retardant polyethylene: Stays flexible in freezing temperatures — no brittleness or cracking.

Top Applications

Frequently Asked Questions

How does 14 mil compare to 10 mil or 12 mil tarps?
Our 14 mil tarp (6.8 oz/sq yd) delivers significantly better puncture resistance, longer outdoor lifespan, and higher load capacity than standard 10–12 mil tarps. It is the recommended upgrade for any application where lighter tarps have failed prematurely.

Which side faces up?
White side faces up — it reflects UV rays to protect your stored materials and extends the tarp's service life. Black side faces down — it absorbs radiant heat and provides added ground moisture resistance. This is the standard orientation for agricultural silage and hay tarping.

What makes Tarps America different from Amazon or Home Depot tarps?
Our 14 mil tarp is made in the USA from true 6.8 oz woven polyethylene. Competitors often sell imported material labeled "14 mil" that falls short on actual weight and durability. We use stainless steel grommets spaced every 18–24" — most competitors use aluminum grommets at 36" spacing. And our price beats every major competitor by at least 15%.

Do you offer bulk or contractor pricing?
Yes. Call (337) 282-5115 or email [email protected] for volume discounts on 5+ units. We supply contractors, farms, municipalities, and industrial operations nationwide.

Memories of the Camino
Format: Paperback
First off, I have to say that my husband and I know Angela, the author. We met her because she is a neighbor of my sister, living in Hawaii. We discovered that she planned to walk the Camino de Santiago de Compostela the same year we were (2016) ! On a visit to Hawaii, we met with Angela and did a little local hike together. She was so enthusiastic and had prepared well. We, too, had been reading up and watching videos, getting suggestions as to what to bring, how to deal with physical issues and weather, what to pack and what not to pack, etc. Still, for anyone doing the Camino - whether the WHOLE 500 miles or doing the required 100 km to get the certificate at the final destination: Santiago de Compostela, Spain - it is a very personal endeavor. Reading Angela Leslee's book gives you the personal story of her "camino," and it is captivating. The changes that take place in her life - the discoveries she makes, the people she meets, the failures she feels, the fears, the habits that get broken (such as food choices!) - all make for an adventure that is life-changing and an interesting read. For anyone considering this pilgrimage, because that's what it is, this book will inspire you. You don't need to be part of a "group." You don't need a lot of plans. You do need to be prepared to be changed. The memory for myself and my husband is that it is the best shared experience we have had together in our 50 years of marriage! Angela's book brought back so many wonderful memories for us. I highly recommend this book.

Feeling Inspired!
Format: Paperback
Reading "The Way of Love" has inspired and encouraged me as I plan for my first (solo) Camino. I thank Angela Leslee for being unafraid to bare all the emotions in her book: the joys, victories, setbacks, disappointments, and pain. It's evident that "The Way of Love" was a labor of love as page after page recounts the 500 miles she walked! I told the author in an email that, in September, when I walk my Camino, I'll be sure to be up and out on the trail "...before sunrise when the yellow street lights cast their magical glow." Can't wait to experience that! "The Way of Love" -- easy to read and enjoy.

the good, the bad, the funny, the reality
Format: Kindle
A great memoir of an “older” woman walking the Camino de Santiago alone. Alone but with many friendships along the way.

An Honest Tale
Format: Kindle
When someone you know writes a heart-felt story of a journey of self-discovery, it's startling to realize how little you knew of their self. Walking the Camino across Spain in 40 days of pain and revelations, Angela takes us on an epic journey into her soul. She marvels, delights, laughs, and cries at the breath-taking scenery, the scents of forests and fields of flowers and grasses, the fellow pilgrims she meets and re-encounters across the 40 days. Day by day we travel with her. Her account of everyday life on the journey is vivid. I recommend this book to everyone who has been, or wants to go, on a voyage of self-examination, who wants to question why they are living in the way they are. Maybe life could be different, if one took time to try a different way.

Compelling!
Format: Paperback
I loved this book. It is a personal, honest, beautiful account of walking the Camino, and I didn’t want it to end. The actual reality of walking the Camino is aptly portrayed in this open-hearted story. Angela’s unique turn of phrase, her outrageous humor, her vulnerability, the unrelenting pain, and the lessons learned are beautifully expressed, and are a testament to her endurance and to her Love. Angela has the true heart of a pilgrim, showing us that seeing with eyes of Love is all that matters. Bronwen Diana
